Nexus devices have reached a new level with its 5th generation smartphones and 2nd generation tablets. Google has embodied the best design with powerful processing power to rule this device among its other smartphone peers. With the release of Nexus 4, people were surprised how well a device can perform without spending a lot of money. Upon the release of Nexus 5, it’s still considered as one of the most promising devices. But, we’re hearing news about Nexus 6 already and it’s expected to reveal itself this year.
Google is planning to release its 6th generation smartphone, Nexus 6, with LG’s flawless design. Google might be planning to unveil their beast on this year, Q4. We’re not quite sure about its release date (no one’s is sure) but it’s expected to release in October, 2014. But, one of the most surprising news that’s spreading onto the market is that Google might be kind enough to release Nexus 6 on Q2, depending on the consumer requirement and current market situation for smartphones. The nexus series has always been affordable with beastly performance. In terms of design or build quality, no one has ever complained about it. After all, it’s an heir of Google.
However, Google’s SundarPichai has confirmed that the release of a new smartphone is quite vague in the first half of 2014. Google released their earlier smartphones in the second half of the year, so this doesn’t bring any surprise.
Google always follows their own trend. You might be wondering what that is. Well, in the case of Nexus 4, it was the beastly device that came out to the market with its high-end specs which made it so popular that still it envies many manufacturers. The release of Nexus 5 did the same. So, it goes without saying that Google will maintain its equilibrium of producing high-class smartphones which will have similar specs according to the current market. Already Samsung and LG have taken the steps of a curved display. Google might have bigger plans for their device, but from what we heard; Nexus 6 might be just a lighter version of LG G3, since it’ll be designed from the same vendor.
Nexus 6 Specs
All of this info is based on the rumors that are going viral all over the world. Google hasn’t unveiled anything and we don’t have any confirmed news either. So, we’re relying on the fact that they’re all rumors. Here it goes:
Google will empower their Nexus 6 with True Octa-Core Chipset, with a clock speed of 2.4GHz or more. As the present trend has already reached to have a RAM as much as 3GB, Google might include 4GB RAM with 2K display unit. Similar to its predecessor, Nexus 6 might be featuring a 5-inch UHD display with Fingerprint and other security measures. Samsung’s S5 and Apple’s 5S has already been unveiled to have a fingerprint sensor. So, Google will bring this sensor with Health, atmosphere and thermo sensor as well.
Let’s wait for a few more months and get Google’s own voices on their future smartphone. In the meantime, we’ll keep you updated with the rumors or any confirmed info.
